Started refereeing at 17 in Ghana's lower divisions, he rose through the ranks to become a Ghana Premier League referee since 2012, handling top domestic matches. Some of his notable achievements include officiating the Ghanaian FA Cup final (Hearts of Oak vs Ashanti Gold), refereeing at the 2017 CAF U-17 Cup of Nations, and officiating the 2018 WAFU Cup of Nations.
He's also refereed multiple African Nations Championship (CHAN) tournaments (2018, 2020) and was selected as a referee for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
